Using a simple square of white or light colored cotton, I will lead you step-by-step through each stitch, creating a sampler of all these stitches.
These stitches can be used in many hand sewing and mending applications including mending rips and tears, sewing seams, closing stuffed toys and cushions, adding edging or making buttonholes by hand, and sewing or repairing stretch fabric seams.
